NWANGELE EXULTANT AS GOV UZODIMMA EMBARKS ON CONSTRUCTION OF 2.4KM AMUZI-UMUOPARADIM ROAD

  - Amara Iwuanyanwu Commends Gov Uzodimma Intervention as Timely

Over 2 years now, its no longer news that Imo State have assumed the largest construction umpire in the history of Nigeria in recent times. Gov Hope Uzodimma administration is unrelenting in its oars to change the landscape of the state, changing the old narrative which it was known for.

The driving force for the Radical Road Construction in Rural areas was championed by the passage and signing of 2022 Appropriation Bill into law with a total outlay of N381.4 billion on 24th December 2021 in a budget tagged " Budget of Wealth Consolidation and Recovery". The Objective of the budget is intended to satisfy the desires of the people by promoting sustainable development in the State; aimed at putting the well-being of the people at the centre of governance through massive reconstruction of dilapidated infrastructures.

However, Gov Hope Uzodimma who rewards loyalty and committment to his Administration and his immeasurable love for "Nde Nwangele" and to ensure that rural dwellers have passable roads that will make life easy and improve their economic well-being kicked-off Rural Road project starting from Nwangele with the approval for construction of 2.4Km  Amuzi-Umuoparadim Road, Road leading to the home town of the Revered Imo Deputy Speaker & Member Representing Nwangele State Constituency, Rt Hon Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, an ardent support of 3R Administration of Gov Uzodimma. 

Before now, Amuzi-Umuoparadim Road was known as hollow road with it's surfaces wearing-off leading to subsidence. Motorists find it Laborious and Arduous to penetrate the road for their day-to-day activities thereby halting human and Economic activities within the area.

Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu speaking after on-the-spot inspection of the new road project expressed deepest satisfaction and appreciation to Gov Hope Uzodimma for timely intervention on leveraging the sufferings of his Constituents, stressing that the road when completed will opened up the locality for socio- economic development.

Iwuanyanwu noted that road construction and other Infrastructural Development ongoing in the state have multiplier effects, stressing that the 3R Administration of Gov Hope Uzodimma is bent on creating an enabling Environment for Investments to thrive in the state.

With the Commencement and Construction of the 2.4Km Amuzi Umuoparadim Road, will Increase Economic Activities, bring about Development as-well-as enabling, more especially the farmers to evacuate their produce to the urban areas for maximum benefits and Easy access Across Amuzi, Dim na Nume to Neighbouring Communities such As Umunaba-Isu, Abajah and Umuozu Communities.

The Road when complete will have good drainage lines, double celled culvets for free flow of water during heavy downpour. 

The Rural Road Revolution which kickstarted with Nwangele have shown the willingness of 3R Administration of Gov Hope Uzodimma to Rehabilitate, Recover and Reconstruct diplorable Rural and Urban Roads, which are geared towards accessible and sustainable Economic boom in our localities and state at large.
